Expérience

Experience: 1-3 years' experience Qualifications: Relevant draughting qualification advantageous. Professional Registrations: Not required. Software: Microsoft Office (proficient in excel, word, outlook), Nesting Software (any but not critical), any 3D design package (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred). Proficient in English (Crucial) and Afrikaans (Ideal) Notice period: Not more than 1 month. Responsibilities: Reports to engineering/drawing office manager. Product development and design. Assist Engineers and Design Draughtsmen. Take on complete projects from start to finish. Maintain drawing packs, filing and administration. Issue drawings to factory. Assist production and repair departments as needed. Create nestings for plasma. Assist with day-to-day requirements. Bills of materials. Proper planning and time management. The successful candidate will be expected to function successfully on their own and must be a quick learner. Maintain good interdepartmental communications and relations.

Excellent communication and computer literacy skills. Being able to develop good working relationships and trust with co-workers. Strong problem-solving skills and being very detail oriented.
