Company and Job Description: A well-established manufacturing organisation in Durban is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to electrical systems, production processes, plant operations, and engineering projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers, maintenance teams, contractors, and project stakeholders while gaining exposure to design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Assist with electrical design work, engineering calculations, and technical documentation. Support project and maintenance engineers with site inspections, commissioning, and plant-related activities. Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation. Participate in project meetings and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing procedures. Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues within the plant environment. Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. Provide technical and administrative support across engineering projects and operations.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Formation / Diplômes

BTech / Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering (with an average aggregate of 60% and more) Experience: 0–2 years’ experience within engineering or manufacturing environments. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong academic performance will be advantageous. Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to engineering software tools advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and within a team.
