• Sur site To support the growth of our mobile application and digital tools, PaySika is recruiting an experienced Product Designer. Reporting to the Product team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of the user experience across all PaySika digital platforms.

You will work closely with the Tech, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to design experiences that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible to a wide audience.

Maintain, enrich, and continuously improve the PaySika Design System (components, tokens, guidelines) to ensure visual consistency across all interfaces.

Conduct user research and studies to identify users’ needs, frustrations, and behaviors.

Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features and improvements to the PaySika application.

Produce clear and well-documented user flows, information architecture, and interaction maps aligned with technical constraints and product objectives.

Ensure the quality and compliance of UI deliverables with the Design System during development integration.

Actively contribute to the product roadmap by bringing a user-centered vision and proposing innovative design solutions.

Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, fintech innovations, design tools, and mobile accessibility best practices.

Education Bachelor’s degree (minimum Bac+3 equivalent) in Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or an equivalent field.

Experience Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in product design acquired in a digital agency, startup, or tech/product-oriented company.

An online portfolio showcasing concrete projects (mobile applications, web interfaces, design systems) is mandatory and will be carefully reviewed.

Hard Skills Expert proficiency in Figma (prototyping, components, auto-layout, variables).

Strong knowledge of UX methodologies: Design Thinking, Design Sprint.

Solid understanding of mobile-first design principles, digital accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), and design for emerging markets (connectivity constraints, feature phones, etc.).

Proven experience in creating and managing a Design System (component libraries, design tokens, documentation).

Proven ability in graphic design, brand design, illustration and motion design.

Proficiency with AI tools applied to product design is considered a major asset, including: Content generation and analysis tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Figma Make.

Soft Skills Strong ability to work within multidisciplinary teams and thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain and defend design decisions to non-design stakeholders.

Language Good command of both French and English, written and spoken (minimum operational level: B2).

Experience in the fintech, banking, or high-traffic consumer application sector in Africa will be considered a strong advantage.
