You will teach core chemistry courses and may also support instruction in biology, physics, or integrated science, depending on your background and departmental needs. You'll bring curiosity and rigor to the classroom, foster a lab-safe environment, and help students develop critical scientific thinking skills. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Chemistry (required) and one or more additional science disciplines Design and supervise safe laboratory experiences aligned with curriculum standards Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including advanced and struggling students Track and communicate student progress through grades, written feedback, and parent/guardian conferences Collaborate with the Science Department on curriculum development, scope & sequence, and cross-disciplinary projects Maintain lab equipment, safety materials, and chemical inventories in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and extracurricular programs as requested Serve as an academic advisor and mentor to assigned students.
