Key duties include scheduling, managing labor and equipment maintenance, reducing waste, and coordinating with project management to deliver precast concrete products on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Production Management: Plan and direct daily production schedules for beams, blocks, and custom products, optimizing workflow and efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Establish a “Zero Harm” culture, enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Quality Control: Partner with QA teams to minimize defects, rework, and waste. Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor personnel, including supervising production supervisors and maintenance staff. Maintenance & Asset Management: Oversee machinery procurement, installation, and preventative maintenance. Cost Control: Manage budgeting, raw material inventory, and labor costs to maximize profitability. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, ideally in precast concrete or construction, with strong leadership skills. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of concrete production, batching, and, in some cases, pre-stressed technology. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Tools: Proficiency in MS Office/Excel and scheduling software. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
