TERMS OF REFERENCE Under the supervision of the Education Specialist/Chief, UNICEF Algeria, and in close coordination with designated MEN focal points, the consultant will conduct a preparatory, delivery and capitalisation process for a Training of Trainers programme in training engineering. If you would like to know more about this consultancy, please review the complete Terms of Reference here: TMC0002150 External ToR.pdf Minimum requirements: Education: Education, training engineering, sciences of education, pedagogy, social development, public policy or related disciplines. Work Experience: At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in training engineering, capacity development, adult learning and/or Training of Trainers. Proven experience in designing and facilitating training programmes for public institutions. Experience in education-sector training or accompaniment of primary, middle or secondary education actors is highly desirable. Knowledge/Expertise/Skills: Strong understanding of the full training engineering cycle: needs analysis, design, implementation, steering, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to produce training materials, practical tools, evaluation instruments and capitalisation reports. Capacity to adapt technical content to institutional needs and to facilitate participatory and practice-oriented learning. Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic and French is required. Knowledge of English is an asset. Desirables: Good understanding of the Algerian education system and MEN structures. Previous collaboration with public institutions and/or international organisations. Experience in quality education, inclusion, pedagogical accompaniment or institutional capacity strengthening.
