Marketer will be responsible for implementing and managing sales and merchandising strategies at various retail locations.

Responsabilités

Key duties include monitoring product placement, ensuring brand standards are met, managing stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations, and working collaboratively with retailers to enhance visibility and customer engagement. Additionally, the Area Marketer will support negotiation efforts for favorable stocking terms and provide reports on sales and merchandising effectiveness. As an Area Marketer, you will visit various stores and channels in designated areas, driving sales & distribution of brands and seamless execution of client mandates. Job Title: Area Marketer Location: GP (South/East/Vaal) Job Type: Permanent Start Date: Immediate Working Hours Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 17h00 No work on public holidays or weekends Key Responsibilities: Conduct surveys on Repforce app, capturing accurate data and insights. Execute daily call cycles, achieving set targets and objectives. Visit +-14 stores per day, covering different areas and channels. Implement client mandates in stores, including: Selling brands. (KPI driven) Merchandising and visual display management. Packing and maintaining stock levels. Building relationships with store managers and staff. POS implementation Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Provide real-time feedback and reporting on store visits and survey outcomes.

Matric/Grade 12 certificate.

Expérience

Experience in Merchandising, Marketing, and Retail strategies to drive sales and improve product visibility

Skills in Order Management, Stock Control, and Inventory Management to ensure consistent product availability Strong Communication, Relationship Management, and Negotiation skills for liaising effectively with retailers and suppliers Analytical and Organizational skills to assess merchandising performance and develop insights for improvement Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and an understanding of strategic product placement is advantageous Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities A valid driver’s license, fully licensed and up to date serviced vehicle and willingness to travel within the Johannesburg region Previous experience in a similar role or familiarity with the retail industry would be beneficial Proficiency in using mobile apps (Repforce) and basic computer skills.
