BackgroundMeeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the U.S.President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Department of State (DOS).The project provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIVepidemic control among at-risk populations, while strengthening global health security, expandingtuberculosis detection and treatment, improving maternal and child health, addressing malaria, andpromoting health systems strengthening.In Cameroon, the EpiC project supports the continuation and expansion of life-saving HIVprevention, treatment, care, and support services. The program prioritizes community-led approachesintegrated with facility-based systems to increase access to quality HIV-related services and closegaps in HIV case finding (first 95), while maintaining progress toward the second and third 95 of theUNAIDS targets.Family World International (FAWOI) is a civil society organization committed to fosteringautonomous and sustainable communities through capacity building, skills development, andstrategic partnerships. FAWOI operates across Health, Education, Protection, EconomicEmpowerment, and Development thematic areas, with a strong emphasis on women’s and girls’wellbeing.FAWOI will implement the FHI360-led EpiC Cameroon project in the Southwest Region, coveringthe health districts of Muyuka, Kumba North, Mamfe, Tombel, and Bangem.2. Position SummaryFamily World International (FAWOI) is seeking qualified and detail-oriented Monitoring &Evaluation (M&E) Assistants to support the implementation of M&E activities under the EpiCCameroon project within assigned districts.The M&E Assistant will report to the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and provide hands-on supportto frontline service providers to ensure accurate data collection, validation, analysis, and use incompliance with national standards and donor requirements.3. Key ResponsibilitiesThe Monitoring & Evaluation Assistant will be responsible for the following:• Provide direct technical support to HTS Providers to ensure availability, correct use, andcompleteness of project source documents and tools.• Conduct routine data quality checks for all program indicators and collaborate with projectstaff to resolve identified issues.• Perform weekly and monthly data validation and triangulation across paper-based andelectronic data systems.• Analyze and present summary project data for all indicators, identifying programmatic gapsfor evidence-informed action.• Conduct monthly RDQA activities for key indicators across supported districts and servicedelivery points and ensure follow-up on recommendations.• Conduct bi-weekly site visits to assess the availability and correct use of EpiC primary sourcedocuments and provide mentorship to service providers.• Validate referral (handshake model) data monthly with clinical implementing partners athealth facility level.• Represent the EpiC project in district coordination meetings, workshops, and other relevantactivities.• Participate in data review and coordination meetings with clinical partners at health facilities.• Ensure all M&E activities comply with national standards, dono
