1–2 years’ networking experience Additional Requirements: No criminal record Willingness to undergo medical and security checks Job Description Managed Services Network Engineer Job Spec - Onsite Sound experience in general WAN/LAN troubleshooting Assisting with Network implementations and deployments Deep understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, and security, including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN standards and industry best practices. Perform upgrades, troubleshoot and fixes of network hardware, software and configuration issues. Solid understanding of Cisco wireless infrastructure and architecture. Good hands-on experience with Wireless LAN controller and Cisco AP troubleshooting as well as with the Cisco WLC IOS Code upgrade. Hands on experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco WLC models like 9800, 8500, 5520, 5508, 2504, 5508 with HA SSO and all models of Cisco APs including wave 2 and next generation 9100 series APs. Excellent Troubleshooting & Debugging expertise on Cisco WLC and Access Points. Access point configuration in CAPWAP and Mobility Express solutions. Traffic migration from Flex connect to Local mode and vice versa. Fundamental knowledge of switching / routing protocols and authentication. Experienced on testing and troubleshooting wireless products including access points (APs), WLC and other WLAN infrastructure like Cisco Prime, DNAC and client devices for evaluation. Hands on knowledge and understanding of Cisco ISE is an added advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Interact with the client on a day-to-day basis and troubleshoot wireless network issues and resolve them under SLA. Upgrade IOS of WLC as per schedule. Handles all changes as per the change management process.
