The Saladboss is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Salad Chef to manage our cold kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy, and visually stunning salads and cold dishes. Job Summary The Salad Chef will oversee the preparation of a wide variety of salads, dressings, cold meals, and buffet items while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, consistency, and presentation. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Execution

  • Prepare fresh vegetable, fruit, pasta, and protein salads daily.
  • Create and mix signature homemade salad dressings and sauces.
  • Prepare cold appetizers, wraps, and sandwich fillings.
  • Wash, peel, cut, and portion ingredients efficiently while ensuring maximum freshness. Menu Innovation & Presentation
  • Develop new salad recipes and healthy menu ideas.
  • Ensure attractive, modern, and consistent food presentation.
  • Assist in planning cold buffet menus and creative platters. Kitchen Hygiene & Safety
  • Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Keep the cold kitchen station clean, sanitized, and organized at all times.
  • Monitor food storage temperatures and ingredient shelf life.
  • Proactively manage stock to minimize food waste. Inventory Support
  • Assist with ordering fresh produce and premium ingredients.
  • Track the daily usage of vegetables and salad supplies.
  • Ensure all necessary ingredients are fully stocked for daily operations.

Expérience

Qualification Required & Experience

Localisation

  • Location: Must currently live in Accra (proximity to Adenta is a strong advantage).
  • Experience: Prior experience as a Salad Chef, Cold Kitchen Chef, or Prep Cook is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.

Formation / DiplĂ´mes

  • Education: Culinary arts training or certification is a strong plus. Key Qualities We Look For
