We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Settlement (LCY) and Corporate Action Expert - First Nominees Job Identification: 1198 Location: Lagos Job Type: Full Time Job Summary Responsible Settling all LCY related securities Transactions. Prompt Corporate action Notification to the clients relationship with third party application provider (CBN S4, FMDQ and CSCS) Responsibilities Settlement of all Local (Bonds, Treasury Bills, Commercial Paper, Corporate Bonds) Processing of all Collective investment schemes Transactions. Settle and process all equity related Transactions. Track Corporate actions and onward payment to clients upon receipt Ensure prompt response to corporate actions events Capture Settlement; Registration; Splitting and Corporate Action (LCY) trades to the system Payment of Corporate Action (LCY) trades. Ensure that due process is followed for Receipt of securities. Drive the successful settlement of Corporate Action (LCY) activities and reconciliation of scrip and cash accounts. Render timely reports to internal stakeholders (ICEG, Audit etc) and the regulators/external stakeholders (SEC, CBN, AMCON etc). Maintain the security and confidentiality of all information entrusted to the staff. Comply with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook. Undertake any other job as delegated by the Head of Operations or any senior member of the team. Business continuity Champion (BCM) for FirstNominees. Transactions Call over. Monthly Custody statement for clients (Equites, Bonds and TBILLS). Requirements Education: First Degree in any field Other relevant professional or postgraduate qualification(s) willbe an advantage Experience: Minimum experience: One (1) years of relevant banking/custody operations. Skill/Competencies: Reasoning andAnalytical Skills. Accuracy and attention to detail. Time management and organization skills Interpersonal skills. Expertise in IT and Computer applications. Good Communications skills (written and oral) with strong business and customer focus. Deadline: 28th October, 2024.
