JOB SUMMARY Scope of Work:The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. Founded in 1933 at the request of Albert Einstein, the IRC offers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to people affected by war or disaster. At work today in over 40 countries and 22 U.S. cities, we restore safety, dignity and hope to millions who are uprooted and struggling to endure. The IRC leads the way from harm to home RESPONSIBILITIES Program Management, Technical Quality, and StrategyThe nutrition outreach Nurse/Assistant will work together with the nutrition officer and other IRC sectors in implementing CMAM, outreach program, MIYCN activities and SFP in MMC and Jere, Magumeri and Konduga .He/she will Work together with the health facility staff in developing the movement and work plans for the respective health facilities.Work with MOH staff in conducting outreach especially in hard to reach areas where security situation permits.Formation, training and supervising the community Health Volunteers, MTMSG and MTMC to carry out routine MUAC screening at community level and work closely with other outreach staff in screening of SAM children at the OTP sites and facilitate referral of sick children to the stabilization center.Program DevelopmentTogether with the nutrition manager support in the development of an effective outreach strategy that will enhance effective and comprehensive service provision.Capacity building and training of the local government and partner staff in all aspects of nutrition programming.Review the forms completed by MOH staff to ensure completion, accuracy and coherenceResearch, Learning and AnalysisCompile the statistical data (admission, default, cured, absent, death) and draft a report on activities.Coordination & RepresentationEstablish good relationship with the Buluma’s  and LGA  authorities and community leadersEstablish a network with the other actors in the working area (I/NGO)Establish a good understanding of the program within the community REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to coordinate, Nutrition and metabolism REQUIRED EDUCATION Diploma, Associate's degree
