Application Manager CRM Solutions*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with a contract duration of two years. At the end of the initial two-year contractual period, there are good prospects for conversion of the contract from a fixed-term to an open-ended employment contract. Employment location will be Bonn or Berlin, Germany.
Digital transformation is changing the way we work and collaborate. To strengthen Welthungerhilfe’s digital backbone, we are modernizing our CRM landscape — enhancing our current SAP-based solution with cloud-based platforms such as Dymatrix DynaCampaign. To support this journey, we are looking for an engaged and analytical Application Manager – CRM Solutions to join our Business Solutions team and our cross-departmental CRM project.
In this role, you will ensure the reliable operation of our existing CRM tools, notably MFPlus, while actively contributing to the implementation and further adoption of our new, cloud-based campaign management solution DynaCampaign. You will work at the intersection of marketing, finance, IT, and external service providers — helping us build efficient, integrated, and sustainable systems that support Welthungerhilfe’s mission to end global hunger.
Your responsibilities
You take responsibility for the administration, operation, and continuous optimization of our current CRM landscape, with focus on our current SAP-based tool MFPlus
You coordinate system maintenance, user management, and data quality, and ensure stable interfaces with SAP ECC and other connected systems
You analyze CRM-related business processes (donor management, campaign management, relationship management) and consult stakeholders on improving efficiency and system integration
You drive the rollout and adoption of Dymatrix DynaCampaign in our CRM projects as an application expert. Together with our Domain Data Owner and Process Owner Marketing, you identify optimization opportunities, streamline end-to-end processes, and reduce manual work through automation
You act as a link between business users, the project team, and external partners to ensure seamless system integration and process consistency
You coordinate external service providers and monitor service quality and system performance
You document system changes, create user guides, and prepare or conduct training sessions for key users and end users
After the introduction of new CRM components, such as DynaCampaign and Inxmail, you take over their operational responsibility and drive ongoing optimization, user adoption, and process automation
Your profile
You have a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing or a comparable qualification
You have 1–3 years of professional experience in application management, CRM administration, or process support, ideally in a non-profit or service-oriented environment
You bring experience with CRM or campaign management systems such as Dynacampaign, MFPlus, Salesforce, or SAP
Good understanding of donor management, fundraising, or campaign management processes is an advantage
You have the ability to translate business needs into system requirements and communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
You are proactive, analytical, and structured in your work and enjoy coordinating between departments and external partners
You recognize the growing value of data in your field and strive to make evidence-based decisions
You are motivated to grow your CRM expertise, especially in DynaCamapaign, and are driven to become a subject expert for our legacy system MFPlus
Fluency in English (spoken and written) and advanced German skills (CEFR level B2 or higher) are required
