We don't need a manager who sits in an office; we need a Technical Lead who thrives on the production floor. This role is for a specialist who understands the science of feed formulation and wants to be physically involved in the mixing and milling process to ensure perfection in every batch. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 9 to 5 Applicant Location: Eastern Region, Ghana Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: The Formulation Expert: You will be the "owner" of our nutritional recipes. You’ll work closely with our premix and concentrate suppliers to manage inclusion rates and ensure our feed delivers maximum growth performance. The Lead Operator: You will work directly alongside our liaisons and production staff to run the hammer mills, horizontal mixers, and bagging systems. You aren't just supervising; you are part of the team physically producing the feed. Precision Mixing: You will personally oversee the addition of micro-ingredients and premixes, ensuring that the scientific formulation is executed accurately on the production floor. Raw Material Quality Control: You will physically inspect and test incoming maize, soy, and other ingredients, adjusting the "mix of the day" based on the quality of the raw materials. Operational Flow: You will coordinate production schedules and inventory (FIFO), ensuring the mill runs smoothly and stays "investor-ready" through meticulous record-keeping in MS Excel. Qualifications And Experience: Education: A BSc. in Animal Science, Agriculture, or Agricultural Engineering is mandatory. We need someone who understands the "why" behind the nutrition. Hands-on Experience: 3+ years in a feed mill. You must be comfortable working in a production environment and have direct experience operating milling and mixing machinery. Collaborative Spirit: You enjoy working as part of a crew. You lead by example, showing the team how to maintain high standards of precision during the milling process. Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel to track cost-per-ton, inventory levels, and production data.
