Compliance Officer | Loanco Financial Services | Lusaka, Zambia

Our organization is looking for a rigorous Compliance Officer to secure our legal operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

LOCATION: Lusaka, Zambia | CONTRACT: CDI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, analyze and negotiate commercial and institutional contracts
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments continuously
  • Advise management on legal matters and risks
  • Manage litigation and represent the organization before relevant authorities
  • Implement and update compliance procedures
  • Train staff on applicable legal obligations

REQUIRED PROFILE

  • Law degree (LLB, LLM or equivalent)
  • Bar admission or professional qualification as required
  • 3-7 years in corporate, employment or public law
  • Excellent drafting and legal analysis skills
  • Rigorous, discreet and highly reactive
