Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare Tea/porridge, fruits and lunch for students and staff such as vegetables, rice, beans, meat and other foods according to the recommended meal schedule.

Unload food into containers i.e. bowls, buckets, trays and hand over to the students’ table leaders.

Inform the teacher or staff on duty if students have left the classroom or utensils dirty.

Keep utensils and other equipment used in the kitchen in good and clean condition at all times. Ensure the safety and security of students who help in the kitchen.

Collaborate with the head chef/assistant to ensure that no unauthorized person or student enters the kitchen.

Applicant Qualifications

The applicant should be able to maintain the environment well including using lawn mowers

The applicant should have experience in maintaining the environment (Gardens, Flowers as well as collecting and separating waste)

The applicant should live in an environment close to St Jude’s school

The applicant should be a Tanzanian not less than 28 years old

The applicant should have the skills to entertain people and follow work procedures.
