Job description Purpose of the Role

Own quality assurance and test discipline for Dynamics 365 solutions Ensure all D365 changes are fit for purpose, stable, secure, and production ready Act as the quality gatekeeper across the full delivery lifecycle Drive automated regression testing using Playwright, with formal sign off before release

Core Responsibilities

Define and execute the D365 testing strategy Plan and perform:

o Functional testing o Regression testing (automation led) o Integration testing o UAT support

Validate delivered solutions against approved requirements Ensure test coverage across:

o Configuration o Custom code o Workflows and automation o Integrations Raise, track, and manage defects to resolution Provide go / no go quality input into releases Ensure releases meet agreed quality, performance, and compliance standards

Dynamics 365 Expertise

Strong understanding of:

o D365 entities, forms, views, and business rules o Security roles and access models Test configuration vs customisation Validate:

o Plugins, JavaScript, web resources o Power Automate flows Perform and approve automated regression testing Validate data integrity and end to end business process outcomes Understand cross environment impacts (DEV / QA / UAT / PROD)

Test Design & Quality Practices Create and maintain:

o Test plans o Test cases o Requirement mapped test scenarios Ensure:

o Requirement to test traceability o Adequate regression coverage Contribute to defect root cause analysis Promote a shift left quality mindset Execute manual and Playwright based automated testing

Ways of Working

Operate within Agile / Kanban delivery teams Participate in:

o Refinement o Sprint planning o Showcases Work closely with:

o Business Analysts o Developers Support UAT execution and stakeholder confidence

Environment & Release Discipline Hands on testing across multiple environments Understand release pipelines and controlled deployments Support change governance and release readiness Ensure audit ready testing evidence

Skills, Experience & Qualifications SQE / Test Analyst experience on Dynamics 365 or CRM platforms Strong test analysis and test design skills Ability to build Playwright automation scripts Experience in complex, regulated environments Confident challenging poor quality requirements Strong attention to detail and quality mindset Experience: 3–6 years (no management experience required) Qualifications:

o Essential: Advanced Diploma / National Degree o Preferred: BSc IT or BComm IT Certifications (preferred): ISTQB Agile / ISTQB Advanced; Agile & DevOps training

Work Locations

Gauteng based: Office attendance required (Mon & Fri mandatory), Wednesday (interchangeable) Outside Gauteng & SA: Fully remote
