Job Description

The National MHPSS Officer will support the implementation of IOM’s Mental Health and Psychosocial Programme across Cameroon under the supervision of the Chief of Mission and MHPSS Officer. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with IOM and donor requirements, providing technical support to mental health teams, and promoting partnerships with local organizations. The role also involves conducting training sessions, participating in needs assessments, and assisting in project proposal preparations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and psychosocial support, along with leadership and communication skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, mental health, or social sciences At least two years of professional experience in MHPSS programmes Fluency in French and English Experience in community-based team supervision Knowledge of data management and reporting Skills in liaison with government authorities Leadership and team management skills
