The Communications Officer will develop and execute strategic communication plans to support project and programme objectives. This role involves analyzing communication contexts, managing editorial calendars, and producing high-quality content such as press releases and social media posts. The incumbent will also engage with external partners and donors to ensure effective stakeholder representation. The position is based in Yaounde and is part of a broader effort to enhance communication strategies across various projects in Central Africa. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience Experience in communications, public relations, or journalism Fluent in English and French Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, G-Suite) Ability to analyze communication contexts Experience in content creation and management
