Job Summary
The Quality Assurance, Quality Control & Pest Management Manager is the senior manager responsible for overseeing all QA, QC, and pest management activities across the entire factory. This role ensures product quality, food safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all production sites.
Reporting to senior management, the Manager leads QA, QC, and Pest Management teams, coordinates with Production Managers, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maintain batch consistency, optimize yield, and uphold the company’s standards. This role also includes preparing client Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and ensuring all quality and pest management protocols are fully implemented.
Key Responsibilities
A. Leadership & Operational Management
Lead and manage all QC, QA, and Pest Management Supervisors and Inspectors across all production sites. Ensure consistent application of quality, safety, and pest management standards across all production processes, from raw material handling to final product dispatch. Monitor daily operations and implement corrective actions for non-conformities in collaboration with Production and QA teams. Maintain continuous communication with senior management regarding performance, trends, and gaps in QA, QC, and Pest Management.
B. Product Quality, Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC, and all relevant internal and external standards. Oversee inspection of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, including grading, defect control, moisture monitoring, and aflatoxin management. Supervise final product checks, including packaging, labeling, traceability, and COA preparation. Oversee pest management programs, including monitoring, preventive measures, documentation, and corrective actions.
C. Collaboration with Production
Partner with Production Managers to promptly resolve quality, safety, and pest-related issues. Ensure proper machine calibration and coordinate preventive maintenance to maintain product quality and operational consistency. Provide QC and QA input on process adjustments to optimize yield and minimize defects.
D. Team Management & Development
Directly manage all QA, QC, and Pest Management Supervisors; indirectly supervise Inspectors and pest management staff. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring. Identify training needs and implement competency programs for all QA, QC, and Pest Management personnel. Ensure appropriate coverage across shifts and balanced workload distribution. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, food safety, and pest awareness.
E. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records for QA, QC, and Pest Management activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and audit-ready summaries for senior management. Ensure all documentation (inspections, tests, batch releases, COAs, pest control reports) is properly stored and communicated.
F. Continuous Improvement & Compliance
Identify recurring quality, safety, or pest management issues and propose improvements. Collaborate with Production and QA teams to improve product yield, quality, and compliance. Support internal and external audits with data, reports, and on-floor guidance. Monitor KPIs including grading accuracy, whole kernel yield, defect levels, foreign matter, rejection rates, and pest incidents.

The Manager ensures operational and strategic execution of QA, QC, and pest management programs, maintaining alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and food safety objectives.
- Performance Expectations
Consistent application of QA, QC, and pest management standards across all sites and shifts. High compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC, and other regulatory requirements. Accurate and timely documentation, including COAs and pest management records. Minimal product defects, customer complaints, and pest incidents. Effective leadership, supervision, and development of QA, QC, and Pest Management teams. Contribution to yield optimization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong collaboration with Production Managers on quality, safety, and pest-related issues.
- Work Program & Schedule
Works Monday to Saturday in alignment with production shifts. Oversees daily operations and ensures structured schedules for QA, QC, and Pest Management teams across all sites. Coordinates with senior management on audits, training, COA reports, pest monitoring, and performance evaluations.
Desired profiles :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Quality Management, Biology/Microbiology, Agro-industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the agro-industrial or food sector. Proven experience in managing quality and hygiene systems in the agro-industrial or food industry. Experience in managing pest control programs is desirable.
