REQUEST FOR BIDS (RFB)
Construction & Rehabilitation of WASH Facilities
Sustainable Mission Aid International invites sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors for the construction and rehabilitation of four (4) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities in selected communities in the Bono Region and Upper West Region of Ghana.
This initiative forms part of a broader programme to improve access to safe and clean water, promote good hygiene, and provide adequate sanitation to prevent the spread of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and waterborne diseases in underserved communities.

Construction of new water points & rehabilitation of existing WASH facilities
Eligibility
Legally registered Ghanaian contractors with relevant WASH/civil works experience
Bid Security
2% of the total bid value (Bank Guarantee or Certified Cheque)
Contract Duration
90 calendar days from site handover

Scope of Works Includes
Borehole drilling, casing, and installation of hand/mechanized pumps
Construction of pump platforms, aprons, and drainage channels
Construction of Ventilated Improved Pit (VIP) latrines and sanitation blocks
Rehabilitation of non-functional existing water points and sanitation facilities
Installation of handwashing stations and protective enclosures
Water quality testing, community sensitisation, and WATSAN committee training.
Required Skills or Experience
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Valid GRA Tax Clearance Certificate and SSNIT Clearance
Registration with the Ghana Contractors Registration Secretariat (CRS)
Minimum of three (3) completed similar WASH projects in the last five (5) years
Qualified civil/water resources engineer on staff or as sub-consultant
Demonstrated financial capacity with audited accounts for the last three (3) years
