Compétences requises

The Training Consultant will support the WAM portfolio by delivering in-person training workshops on advanced conventional weapons and private military companies in various sub-Saharan African countries. The role involves updating training resources, coordinating with project teams, and conducting research related to the training topics. The consultant will also provide training readouts and contribute to after-action reports. This position requires extensive experience in training delivery, research, and a strong understanding of regional security dynamics. Expertise in advanced conventional weapons and weapons management Experience in designing and delivering training workshops Strong facilitation skills for diverse stakeholder groups Proven research and analytical skills on security topics Excellent communication skills in English; French or Portuguese desirable Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions Prior experience in Sub-Saharan Africa preferred Availability for international travel
