Project Name: NBS Guinean Forest

CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATION

As part of the implementation of its strategic programme called "NBS Guinean Forest", the SEPHIS Foundation, with the support of Global Affairs Canada, is launching this global public tender for the selection of:

Financial Analyst Consultant

MISSIONS, ROLES AND BIDDER CRITERIA

The expert's mission will be to conduct financial diagnostics and support a portfolio of 50 programme beneficiary enterprises over a period of 5 months in Ghana.

Responsibilities will include:

Analyse financial statements and assess the financial health of each enterprise (profitability, solvency, working capital);

Support the implementation of appropriate management tools (dashboards, cash flow plans) and assist in the preparation of financing files;

Write a diagnostic report for each of the 50 enterprises and a final end-of-assignment report.

Required Skills or Experience

The candidate must meet the following criteria:

Hold a higher education degree (Bac+3/4) in finance, accounting, audit or business management (Master's, DESCF, MBA);

Have at least 3 years of experience as a financial analyst, auditor or financial consultant working with SMEs in West Africa;

Master financial analysis and accounting as well as financial modelling;

Have full command of French. Command of English is a major asset.
