Expert Application Advice

Technical proficiency — International Organization for Migration expects hands-on mastery of Excel. Don't just list them: describe a concrete project where you used them and the outcome delivered.

UN process — Complete an up-to-date, role-specific UN P11 — a generic P11 is disqualifying. Apply within 72 hours of posting: UN agencies often close applications once volume thresholds are reached.

First role — Lead with motivation and concrete academic/personal projects. Show thorough research on this organization — curious, well-informed junior candidates consistently outperform more experienced but less engaged profiles.
