Job Summary

Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code To ensure that daily shift management is done according to the required standard. Knowledge of Health & Safety management Threat and Risk assessment Ensuring Security Officers problems that are reported are solved Ensure that all company / client SOP’s are adhered to. Ensure BPC policies and procedures are always followed Client liaison and professional client relationship Manpower Management Equipment Management Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints Ensure that contractual requirements are always met After hour visits and standby duties Completion of daily, weekly and monthly reports Handling of Informers and Intelligence Must be able to attend meetings and take calls to assist with matters of urgency even on rest days Initiate Disciplinary Enquiries Handling Disputes at the CCMA Demonstrate extensive knowledge of good security practice covering the physical and logical aspects of information products, systems, integrity, and confidentiality   Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills: PSIRA certification – Grade A. Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. 5 Years working experience in the Mining environment. Firearm competency and a valid regulation 21 certificate is an advantage (9mm, Shotgun, Self-Loading Rifle, Carbine) Wages control Must have confidence in dealing with the Public and community unrest. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Problem solving and organizational skills. Training and legal interpretation skills. Must be driven, have energy and attention to detail. Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record. Driver’s License & Own transport .
