Electricity Distribution and Supply Authority (EDSA) of Sierra Leone is currently operating in key strategic regions of Freetown, Lungi, Lunsar, Port-Loko Makeni, Magburaka, Bo, Kenema, and Kono. In collaboration with the Ministry of Energy of Sierra Leone, EDSA is supervising the rural electrification of an additional 7 towns of Kailahun, Pujehun, Bonthe, Kambia, Kabala, Moyamba, and Matru Jung to increase the access rate to electricity. EDSA is now operating its ultramodern Integrated Management System (IMS) to enhance its operations and efficiency. The EDSA and the Government of Sierra Leone are seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at EDSA with sound technical and commercial knowledge of the operation of utilities to provide a layer of support to the Director General for a quick turnaround of EDSA’s business performance. The COO will lead the EDSA’s executive management team, reporting to the Director General (DG) under the oversight of the EDSA Board of Directors. The COO will be responsible for developing key strategies in conjunction with the Executive Directors of each business unit.
