The Sénégal Job Market in 2026

Dakar accounts for around 80% of Senegal's job market. The city's growing tech hub, active fintech scene (Wave, Wizall), and presence of major aid agencies (USAID, AFD, GIZ) create steady demand for skilled profiles. Secondary cities like Thiès and Ziguinchor are also gaining traction with industrial firms.

Top sectors in 2026: fintech and mobile money, international development, agribusiness and fisheries, telecoms. Cybersecurity and data roles are growing fast.
