AI Skills at Allianz: From Trend to Core Competence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we work—and Allianz is no exception. Over the past year, we’ve seen a significant shift in how AI-related skills are reflected in our job postings. At Allianz, the rise of AI isn’t an abstract trend—it’s clearly reflected in our job data.In Q1 2025, 48% of our job postings mentioned AI-related skills. By September 2025, that number had surged to 79%, highlighting just how integral AI has become to our work and talent strategy.This rapid growth mirrors our commitment to building AI fluency across every discipline, empowering teams—from actuarial to risk management—to use AI responsibly, confidently, and effectively. To support this transformation, we’ve defined a catalogue of roughly 200 AI-related skills that we consider relevant for the future. This repository helps our recruiters and hiring managers identify which skills are critical for each role—both now and going forward.
