Senior Expert – Business & Investment Climate Reform NTU International is preparing a proposal for the GIZ Global Gateway Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility, which supports partner countries in improving business environments and unlocking sustainable private investment. The Facility delivers demand-driven technical assistance to governments and stakeholders to design and implement investment climate reforms and promote inclusive economic growth. We are creating a pool of Business & Investment Climate Reform Experts for this project. Experts in this pool will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. Key Responsibilities Diagnose business environment and investment climate constraints Design and support implementation of reform strategies Provide economic policy advice to governments and public institutions Develop reports, policy papers, and analytical outputs Facilitate stakeholder consultations and public-private dialogue Deliver workshops, trainings, and capacity-building activities Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of interventions Ensure integration of gender equality, climate, and conflict sensitivity Requirements: Education Master’s degree in economics, business administration, law, or political/social sciences General Professional Experience Minimum 9 years of experience providing economic policy advice to governments Specific Professional Experience Minimum 7 years of experience in business and investment climate reforms, including: Diagnosing reform needs; Developing reform strategies; Supporting implementation of reforms. Minimum 5 years of experience in development cooperation projects Languages English (C1 mandatory) Knowledge of French or Spanish (C1) Inclusion in the expert pool does not guarantee immediate assignment but provides access to project opportunities as they become available.
