The Team Lead provides overall leadership of project, financial, and administrative functions and ensures high-quality, integrated implementation across health, disability inclusion, and community-based approaches. The position supervises the project team, including Finance, Health, CBID, and Administration, and ensures strong alignment between strategy, partnerships, and project impact. Key Responsibilities Project Quality and Integration Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of all projects Ensure integration between technical, financial, and operational functions Promote evidence-informed and adaptive results-based project management Financial and Administrative Stewardship Ensure sound budgeting, financial accountability, and compliance with organizational and donor requirements Supervise administrative systems, logistics, and risk management Ensure efficient and transparent use of resources Team Leadership and Collaboration Lead and supervise the project team Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning Support staff development and performance management Strengthen coordination between technical and operational units Partnerships and Representation Represent DAHW with government institutions, implementing partners, and coordination platforms Strengthen collaboration with national and district health structures Knowledge Management and Learning Promote documentation of project results and lessons learned Strengthen internal knowledge-sharing and learning systems Ensure project data informs decision-making Required Qualifications and Experience Education Advanced degree in public health, international development, social sciences, or related field Professional Experience Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience and at least 5 years of managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects Extensive experience in project leadership in development settings, experience in global health is a strong asset Experience working with both government systems and local partners Experience overseeing budgets and donor-funded projects Core Competencies Strategic and systems thinking Collaborative and inclusive leadership Strong project and team management skills Financial and operational literacy Excellent communication and representation skills What DAHW Offers Opportunity to lead an integrated project team working on health, inclusion, and community empowerment Collaborative and mission-driven working environment Engagement with national partners and health system actors Competitive salary and benefits package How to Apply Interested candidates should submit: Motivation letter CV Contact details of three professional references Applications should be sent to: kadiatu.theresa@dahw-global.org Application deadline: 10th April 2026 Share this post Facebook Twitter LinkedIn
