About This Role The project officer will be responsible for the day -to-day direct implementation of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)Project in the district of Bombali. Required Experience and Education Minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar context Bachelor’s degree in education, Development Studies, Rural Development, Social Work, Project Management, or related fields Primary Responsibilities She/he will be responsible for community-based planning, coordination, mobilization, coaching, mentoring, training, supportive monitoring, and reporting among other duties. Serve as first point of contact for the Teachers, Assistants and Cooks during the project implementation. Supervise the refurbishment of ECCE centers Represent ChildFund International – Sierra Leone at any related district level and chiefdom level coordination meetings as and when required. Acts as liaison between ChildFund and other stakeholders, and between participants and communities at the district and chiefdom levels. Ensures project plans are executed in a timely manner and share updates on progress and challenges. Compile and document monthly and quarterly project reports and submit to Project Coordinator in a timely manner. Works closely with the District Council, Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) and Teaching Service Commission (TSC) at district during the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
