Job Description

The Child Protection Officer will support UNICEF's initiatives in Sokoto State, focusing on strengthening mental health and psychosocial support services for children affected by violence and conflict. This role involves training teachers, establishing Child Help Desks, and enhancing community-based child protection structures. The officer will also work on improving birth registration services and engage with communities to promote positive parenting and adolescent empowerment. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of child protection interventions.
