Electrical Technician

Electrical Technician job vacancy in Nelspruit. The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the plant environment. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical infrastructure through preventative maintenance, fault finding, and rapid response to breakdowns. The incumbent plays a key role in supporting continuous plant operations by maintaining high voltage systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Salary: R650 000 – R700 000 Annually. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Installation & Maintenance Ensure the effective installation, connection, and maintenance of electrical equipment. Install, connect, and maintain electrical equipment including power distribution systems, generators, transformers, and high voltage switches. Perform preventative maintenance through regular inspections and replacement of faulty components. Maintain lightning protection systems and surge protection equipment. Implement maintenance programmes to ensure equipment longevity and reliability. Ensure the effective installation, connection, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
