Description Requirements

University Degree – Minimum of Second Class Lower or equivalent.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in equity/fixed income trading, with at least 3 years in a senior role.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Proficiency in trading platforms, Bloomberg/Reuters terminals, and MS Office.

Proficiency in use of MS Office packages.

Responsibilities Execute equity/fixed income trades promptly and accurately across local and international exchanges.

Monitor market movements and provide real-time insights to portfolio team members and clients.

Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, exchanges, and institutional investors.

Ensure strict adherence to trading regulations, risk limits, and company policies.

Prepare daily trade reports and market analysis for management.

Prepare weekly, monthly and periodic reports for clients, regulators and other reporting parties

Ability to balance equity funds and grow equity/fixed income portfolio in a sustainable manner

Collaborate with research teams to align trading strategies with market forecasts.

Mentor junior traders and analysts to build team capacity.

Stay updated on market innovations, trading technologies, and regulatory changes.

Any other duties as may be assigned.
