Job description Lodge Manager | Luxury Safari Lodge | North West

Salary: R25,000 – R35,000 DOE (Live-in)

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager for a luxury safari lodge based in the North West. This live-in role is ideal for a professional with strong operational leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-end safari environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery

Lead, manage, and motivate lodge staff to maintain high standards of hospitality

Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring service quality and responding to feedback

Coordinate with all departments, including housekeeping, kitchen, and guest services

Manage budgets, purchasing, and operational costs efficiently

Maintain lodge facilities to 5-star standards and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations

Develop and implement standard operating procedures and operational policies

Requirements

Proven experience as a Lodge Manager or in a senior management role within luxury safari lodges

Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour

Ability to live on-site and work flexible hours

Knowledge of lodge operations, budgeting, and staff management

Package & Benefits:

Competitive salary of R25,000 – R35,000 depending on experience

Live-in accommodation
