Job Description

We are seeking a competent and reliable Gardener to maintain and enhance our gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for all general gardening duties, including plant care, landscape maintenance, and ensuring the garden remains neat, healthy, and visually appealing. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop the garden to meet company standards and expectations 

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as: 

Grass cutting 

Weed control 

Leaf raking 

Emptying bins 

Plant, nurture, and care for trees, flowers, and other plants 

Operate and handle hand tools and light gardening machinery safely 

Keep the garden and surrounding grounds clean by removing litter and debris 

Conduct regular pruning and general plant care 

Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations

Collection and sweeping of leaves, grass clippings, and hedge/edge cuttings

Required Skills or Experience

Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance 

Knowledge of plant care, soil management, and seasonal gardening practices 

Ability to operate basic gardening tools and machinery 

Good physical stamina and attention to detail 

Strong sense of responsibility and reliability 

Ability to work independently and provide practical recommendations 

Basic reporting and communication skills
