Job Description

A Reputable Architecture and construction company with its office at accra is seeking to employ a Certified Architect

Responsibilities

Prepare and present design proposals to clients

Prepare tender and planning applications and presentations

Advise clients on the practicality of their project

Produce detailed drawings from which costings are made

Negotiate with contractors and other professionals

Attend regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists

Co-ordinate the work of contractors and make site visits to check on progress

Make sure that the project is running within the agreed time frame

Provide predesign figures such as an environmental impact or feasibility study, cost analysis and land-use study or final construction plans as required

Follow building codes, fire regulations, zoning laws and city ordinances when creating plans. 

Conceptualize and experiment with different construction approaches through software and must also be familiar with basic office software, such as word processing, spreadsheets and accounting.

Required Skills or Experience

Certified architect with a minimum of 3 years’ working experience.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Sound knowledge of construction.

Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Ability to organize, plan, and strategize
