Our client, based in Noordhoek, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Capturer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career, who has strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing and updating data, ensuring records are maintained, and supporting the team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Matric

Graduate, minimum diploma or equivalent, with an interest in IT or geology advantageous

Ability to effectively manage data

Proficiency in Excel

Tech/IT enthusiast

Keen eye for detail with a high level of attention to detail

Passion for maintaining the highest standard

Enjoys structure and routine

Good Communication Skills and a keen team player

Duties and Responsibilities:

Meticulously scrutinizing data for abnormalities, or inconsistencies

Daily maintain the highest standard of data with excellent attention to detail

Effectively managing and organizing large volumes of geophysical data

Manage file naming conventions, metadata management, and proper archiving

Adhere daily to established quality control protocols

Manage standardized checklists and procedures

Ensure daily consistency and accuracy in data evaluation

Collaborating with field crew to address and resolve quality-related concerns in a timely manner
