ABOUT THE COMPANY New Incentives is a pioneer in a growing movement of giving small incentives to caregivers whose infants get immunized, while increasing awareness of the health benefits of childhood vaccinations. JOB SUMMARY Required Qualifications:Fluency in local languages/dialects spoken, especially Hausa and locally residing or willingness to relocate to any of the states for this advertisement.Minimum of Bachelor degree, preferably in the field of health or other natural sciencesA minimum of 2–4 years relevant experience working in the field. It is desirable that at least 2 of these years be spent working at a managerial level with a locally based or international organization.Willingness to work at remote public clinics and field locations a few days per week.Experience with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation, particularly related to infant health and vaccinationsExperience in collecting, synthesizing and drawing conclusions from (health) data desirableCareful attention to financial matters and management of fundsDetail-oriented, diligent professionalPassion to help others and reduce infant mortality RESPONSIBILITIES CCT Disbursements (30%)Ensuring that FO is meeting their responsibilitiesReviewing Clinic Daily submissions for accuracy, completeness, issues, and recommendations and provide feedback to team membersChecking in with FO on active immunization days, in the morning and evening, and fill out one FM Daily Check-in per immunization dayAssessing clinic and taking necessary action to resolve issue, escalate as needed, and making requests for high-value solutionsEvaluating the FO performance against their responsibilities and coaching them on key areas based on priority and impact of weakness2. Clinic and Settlement Activities (30%)Reviewing tracking progress across settlements and clinics, and guiding tracking prioritiesPlanning out and delegating activities to FV/FA; assessing the quality of completed activity and budget expenditureFocusing on high default settlements and clinics to reduce default rateTaking decisions on whether to continue or stop tracking identified defaulters3. Supply-side and Stakeholder Relationships (25%)Independently checking on FO relationships and guidance on improvementGiving Clinic Staff the ability to directly connect and communicate issues, so they have recourse for complaintsMaintaining cordial relationships with LGA (including health workers), LCCO, LIO, Apex clinic and other stakeholdersFill ODK when convenient but target at least on LGA per MonthAdd all stakeholder contacts by switching to the stakeholder email address4. Security awareness (15%)Report all security incidents in areas of operations, including incidents that do not directly affect staff and/or operations.Liaise with the Security Unit in the event of critical incidents and potential deterioration of the security situation, and disseminate relevant information.Take responsibility for security management and personal safety of team members as applicable in the field.
