Vehicle Inspection Officer

Our client is a mobility technology company and they are looking to employ a Vehicle Inspection Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough vehicle inspections, performing routine maintenance, and supporting drivers with technical assistance and guidance.

Job Responsibilities:

Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics:  Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and operational standards, diagnose mechanical issues, and report defects for resolution.

Compliance & Safety:  Ensure vehicles meet legal and industry standards, assist in regulatory inspections, and ensure roadworthiness.

Driver Support & Training:  Provide technical support, guide drivers on proper vehicle operation, and conduct training on routine checks and safe driving practices.

Fleet Management Support:  Collaborate to schedule maintenance, minimize downtime, and monitor vehicle performance to predict failures.

Inventory & Spare Parts Management:  Track inventory, manage spare parts, and ensure timely procurement to avoid repair delays.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with drivers and management.

Familiarity with safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

Organizational skills for managing maintenance schedules and records.

Qualifications:

Education:  Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
