Surveillance Officer

Job Summary

The Surveillance Officer is responsible for monitoring and protecting company assets, staff, and customers through effective use of surveillance systems and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment continuously

Identify and report suspicious activities or security breaches

Maintain logs of daily surveillance activities and incidents

Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report faults

Assist in investigations by reviewing recorded footage when required

Coordinate with security personnel and management during emergencies

Enforce safety and security policies within the premises

Conduct routine checks to ensure compliance with security standards

Requirements

Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification

Prior experience in security or surveillance is an added advantage

Familiarity with CCTV systems and monitoring tools

Strong attention to detail and observation skills

Ability to remain alert and focused for long periods

Good reporting and communication skills

High level of integrity and professionalism
