MSIG invites applications from qualified, experienced, and values-driven professionals for the position below: Location: Accra Reporting Line: Telemedicine Midwife / Centre Channel Lead Employment Type: Locum Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality SRH services through teleconsultations, including family planning, maternal care, safe abortion, and post-abortion care (where permitted). Provide client-centred counselling, ensuring informed choice, privacy, confidentiality, and respectful care at all times. Drive service uptake by effectively converting consultations into appropriate services, referrals, and follow-ups. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely client records within MSIG’s EHR system. Conduct follow-ups to ensure continuity of care, adherence to treatment, and improved client outcomes. Contribute to demand generation through client engagement, education, and targeted follow-up interactions. Monitor and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and quality of care across all interactions. Identify, manage, and escalate client concerns or complaints in a timely manner. Collaborate with telemedicine, centre, and outreach teams to ensure seamless client referral pathways and service delivery. Ensure strict compliance with MSIG clinical protocols, safeguarding standards, data protection policies, and Ghana Health Service guidelines. Monitor and report operational or technical challenges affecting telemedicine service delivery. Participate in performance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of telemedicine services. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Achievement of teleconsultation volume targets Conversion rate from consultation to service uptake Client satisfaction and quality of care scores Follow-up completion and continuity of care rates Accuracy and timeliness of data entry in EHR systems Contribution to centre performance (CYPs, revenue, service uptake) Compliance with clinical, safeguarding, and data protection standards Required Skills or Experience Qualifications Recognized clinical qualification in Midwifery Registered with the relevant professional body in Ghana and in good standing Experience Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in SRH service delivery Experience in telemedicine service delivery is an advantage Familiarity with Ghana’s health delivery system Demonstrated ability to contribute to service uptake and client engagement Strong alignment with MSIG’s pro-choice values Skills and Competencies Strong clinical expertise in midwifery and SRH Strong communication and client counselling skills Commercial awareness with ability to drive service uptake Proficiency in EHR systems and virtual consultation platforms High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality Ability to work independently and manage performance targets Motivation Passion for delivering high-quality SRH services and improving client outcomes Commitment to client-centred care and continuous service improvement Attributes Strong alignment with MSIG values and pro-choice stance Results-oriented, accountable, and client-focused Professional, ethical, and respectful in all interactions Behaviours Demonstrates accountability for service quality and performance Communicates clearly and empathetically with clients Works collaboratively across teams Maintains confidentiality and upholds safeguarding standards How To Apply Interested candidates should submit: A Cover Letter outlining suitability for the role An updated CV Applications should be sent to [email protected] with the subject line: Application for Locum Telemedicine Midwife – MSIG Application Details Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
