Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Solar Marketing & Sales Officer who combines strong marketing skills with proven sales experience. The ideal candidate understands how to generate leads, convert prospects, and build long term client relationships especially within SMEs, real estate developers, and corporate institutions. Experience in telecommunications or mobile phone marketing is a strong advantage, as we value candidates who are familiar with fast paced, customer driven industries.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Actively prospect, pitch, and close deals with SMEs, real estate companies, and corporate clients.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and contract signing.
Create engaging digital content for social media, website, and online campaigns.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, customer needs, and competitive trends.
Manage online advertising, SEO/SEM, and analytics to optimize campaign performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and media outlets.
Track marketing KPIs and prepare periodic performance reports.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Renewable Energy, or related field.
2–4 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in the energy, technology, infrastructure sector or telecommunication/Mobile phone company
Ability to simplify technical solar concepts for non technical audiences.
Excellent communication, creativity, and project management skills.
Knowledge of Ghana’s renewable energy market is a plus.
