Otanium Energy Limited is a maritime and energy support company offering technical maintenance, spares procurement, and offshore support services. Serving clients across Africa, the UK, and the Middle East, the company specializes in assisting vessel owners, offshore operators, and oil & gas contractors.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Officer (BDO)
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Role Description
The Business Development Officer will drive growth by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing contracts within the maritime, offshore, and oil & gas sectors, while promoting Otanium Energy’s engineering and energy optimization services.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role
Proven ability to generate leads and close deals
Experience working with vessel operators, oil & gas companies, or offshore service providers
Ability to understand and interpret technical proposals and client requirements
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic reporting
Strong network within the maritime, offshore, or oil & gas sectors is highly desirable
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Good understanding of marine electrical systems, offshore operations, or engineering services is an advantage
