Job Description Staff Leadership and Management Ability to work in a team Responsible for self-learning and development with guidance from the Manager Accountable for meeting and prioritising own targets / deadlines Provide information to the Manager on work accomplishments, individual / team challenges Lead team meetings and contribute on specialist / technical areas when required Review performance metric dashboards prepared on various performance metrics. Operational Delivery Estimate the size (revenue and subscribers) as well as the evolution of the market. Evaluate the telecom market trend and its drivers during the next three years Estimate the level on which the revenue budget will be set for the next five years (revenue modeling). Perform analysis to uncover new insights and trends Implement the performance Dashboard Drive the revenue gap analysis Monitor the execution of the business plan Perform revenue gap analysis and drive the ops review in the marketing Develop business model for promotions and new project Ensure the revenue model and pricing of each promotion or marketing campaign Operational, Tactical and Strategic Meetings Provide input on all projects initiated Review key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions Provide input in strategic meetings when required Provide inputs into the risk mitigation and controls Provide input into the preparation of proposal on change initiatives, policies, and procedures Escalations Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee/customer or cost impact if not resolved Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution Function Tactical Provide input into all projects initiated Provide input into establishing objectives, targets, and budgets for the function as applicable Identify and document key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions Prepare documentation required for sign-off / making decisions regarding tactical changes Performance Review performance against agreed KPIs and their compliance to SLAs and reverse SLAs Review and monitor plan for continuous improvement Ensure execution in alignment with divisional strategy Continuous performance monitoring and adjust strategy and actions to deliver targets Reporting Provide inputs to the Manager (as required) relating to progress made within the sub- division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization Performance: Assess and monitor plan for continuous improvement Review performance against agreed KPIs Budgets Manage sub-divisional budgets in line with business objectives Manage project or initiative budgets in line with business objectives Responsibilities Responsible for developing and lead the strategic planning process and country/market/business assessment to achieve MTNC’s long-term goal/vision. Ensures the forecasting and the monitoring of KPIs and revenue modelling for business plan Qualifications Education: Minimum of 3-years degree/diploma in Statistics/computer sciences /Marketing, or a related field Fluent in language of country with full command of English Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in reporting, market analysis, Analytics, planning evaluation and forecasting Experience working in a medium to large organization. Competencies Functional Knowledge: Project planning and evaluation Subscriber and Traffic forecasting process and technique forecasting techniques Data base management reporting and performance analysis Business Performance Management Statistical modeling and multivariate analysis Micro econometrics techniques Project management Data quality methods Pricing analysis Advanced use of Excel (Excel, VBA for Excel, PowerPivot, etc.) Reporting Tools (MAPS,Power BI, OBIEE,etc) Advanced software skills: R, Python, Tanagra Data base Knowledge and specially Oracle SQL, Presto SQL Skills: Extra good numerical mind Good analytical skills Must be able to work underpressure Wide general culture Marketing analysis Conceptual thinking Conflict management Solution providing Strategic thinking Planning and organization Problem solving practices.
