Summary
MiracleFeet believes every baby with clubfoot in low- and middle-income countries should be screened and referred for treatment at birth as part of routine newborn care. The Health Systems Integration Officer (HSIO) will lead strategy to integrate clubfoot screening and treatment into national health systems. This role requires strong advocacy and coordination skills to guide regional teams and MiracleFeet partners in planning and implementing integration efforts. The Officer will provide technical support to ensure advocacy and integration initiatives are coordinated, evidence-based, and adapted to each country’s context. This role will build strong government and civil society partnerships to ensure sustainable access to clubfoot treatment through public health systems. This role requires a strategic thinker, networker and skilled collaborator who can navigate diverse health systems, build consensus across stakeholders, and engage government adoption of sustainable health initiatives.
Essential Functions
Strategic Leadership and Coordination (25%)
Support the design and implementation of MiracleFeet’s advocacy and integration strategy, utilizing sectoral best practice and aligning with global and regional maternal, newborn, and child health policies.
Collaborate with Programs team to support partners in leading integration efforts that align clubfoot services with national health strategies.
Act as the main coordination point for country-level advocacy and integration, offering guidance, tools, and frameworks, and sharing lessons across countries.
Programmatic Support for Integration (40%)
Provide technical guidance to regional teams and partners on engagement with ministries, government agencies, and stakeholders to integrate clubfoot care into public health systems.
Identify policy and network opportunities that favor the adoption and scale-up of clubfoot services within the health system structures and funding of integration in priority countries.
Help develop country-specific advocacy plans that outline key entry points, audiences, milestones, and integration approaches within maternal, newborn, and child health programs.
Guide and support regional teams in encouraging partners to form coalitions and alliances that strengthen advocacy impact, visibility, and collective voice – with NGOs, donors, parent’s groups, professional associations, and global actors working in child health, disability, or rehabilitation.
Support regional teams in assessing partner readiness and capacity for structured advocacy and integration activities, while also guiding teams on opportunistic integration
Data-Driven Insight & Reporting (25%)
Improve the integration tracking system to collect and compare meaningful data.
Support Programs team and Partners in keeping an updated Integration profile of all partnered countries.
Use integration data to monitor trends, assess needs, and recommend resource allocation and priorities.
Document and share successful models, case studies, and lessons learned to continuously refine and improve clubfoot integration strategies.
Program, Grant and Communication Support (10%)
Work with MiracleFeet teams, including Marketing, to create stories that build interest and encourage government support.
Collaborate with the Programs and Development teams to contribute to proposal & SOW development, reporting, and external communications related to advocacy and integration efforts.

Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in Public Health, Social Policy, International Development, or related field preferred.
At minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in advocacy, health systems strengthening, or policy engagement in multiple low- or middle-income countries (LMICs).
Proven experience securing government support for health or social programs, either independently or through partnerships in LMICs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into persuasive, accessible language.
Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information, including with KPIs and/or other monitoring & evaluation tools.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cultures and disciplines.
Experience working with or engaging Ministries of Health (preferred) or other high level government institutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience in child health, disability inclusion, or service integration,
Deep understanding of health system levels of influence, policy cycles, and institutional dynamics.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive progress in complex environments.
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and sustainable development.
Team-oriented, collaborative and diplomatic facilitator mindset with the ability to guide, mentor, and empower others while reducing operational burden.

Please note that this is a remote position based in one of these countries: Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda or Paraguay.

Salary commensurate with experience.
The position is on a contract basis. MiracleFeet will not be offering a US-based employment contract.
