Job Description

Responsibilities

Greet guests and seat them when needed

Present menus and answer basic questions

Take accurate food and drink orders

Relay orders to kitchen staff clearly

Coordinate timing with the bar and kitchen

Inform guests of specials and menu changes

Handle cash, cards, and tips accurately

Keep dining and service areas clean and organized

Follow  food safety and hygiene standards

Maintain clean utensils, glassware, and table settings

Report spills or hazards to prevent accidents

Required Skills or Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or bar service

Knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails

Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

Knowledge of mixing drinks, cocktails, and serving beverages (for bartender role)

Ability to take accurate food and drink orders

Familiarity with menu items and ability to make recommendations

Proper food and drink handling techniques
