The role also requires maintaining accuracy in financial records and providing timely end-of-day reports to management. Processing payments (cash, card, mobile money, etc.) Issuing receipts and giving correct change Balancing cash register at the start and end of shifts Assisting customers with inquiries and purchases Maintaining records of transactions Handling refunds or exchanges according to company policy Ensuring accuracy to prevent financial discrepancies Maintaining cleanliness and order at the checkout area The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, customer-focused, and able to work independently while maintaining high levels of accountability.
