📌 ### 📌 The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is seeking a National Consultant to conduct a national perception study on the implementation of Community Service as a non-custodial sentence in Uganda. The consultant will assess public perceptions and stakeholder views, identify challenges and opportunities, and provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of Community Service. Key deliverables include an inception report, data collection tools, a draft assessment report, and a final policy brief. The position requires extensive experience in program management and research within the criminal justice sector. Advanced university degree in criminology, law, social sciences, or related discipline At least 7 years of professional work experience in program management and research Prior experience conducting national surveys Strong knowledge of Uganda’s criminal justice system Strong research and analytical skills Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is an advantage
