Read more about this company Safety Officer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 3 years Location Adamawa City Yola Job Field Safety and Environment / HSE   Job Summary The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that all plant operations comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards to prevent accidents and hazards. Key Responsibilities Develop and enforce HSE policies and procedures Conduct routine safety inspections and audits Monitor compliance with PPE usage Organize safety drills and emergency response training Investigate incidents and prepare reports Ensure fire-fighting equipment is functional Maintain safety documentation and risk assessments Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (NMDPRA) Requirements B.Sc/HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field Minimum 3 years experience in HSE, preferably in oil & gas/LPG Certifications: HSE Basic (LEVEL 1, 2 & 3) or equivalent (preferred) Strong knowledge of hazard identification and risk management Check how your CV aligns with this job Method of Application Interested and qualified?
